I paint your commission using traditional oil techniques and materials of the highest quality.
We begin with an initial discussion, by email, phone, online or in person.
After agreeing price and size, you email me your reference material: photographs or sketches or ideas.
I advise on the best composition and size and we finalise the purchase price and delivery dates.
Prices start at £1,550 for a canvas approximately 12” × 16” (plus frame size), from £1,550.
A medium size, approximately 16” × 22”, is £2,300.
Larger works are quoted case by case after agreeing on subject and scale.
Typical lead-time for completion is approximately 5-8 weeks, depending on complexity and current studio schedule.
I may be able to shorten this in some circumstances where the commission needs to be met for an upcoming event e.g. birthday, wedding.
A non-refundable 50% deposit confirms the commission and secures my time and materials.
The balance is due upon completion and before delivery or collection.
All copyright and reproduction rights remain with me, though the client naturally owns the physical artwork.
I reserve the right to photograph and exhibit the painting as part of my professional portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
