This painting was carefully and securely packed to arrive in perfect condition by tracked delivery.It has an excellent choice of frame which perfectly matches the composition and style of the artwork. I love 'Testing The Water' because of the beautiful depiction of sunlight reflected in the surface of the sea. William is a very fine figurative artist and this is my third purchase from him. No doubt, it will not be my last!

I purchased one of William Oxer's original artworks as a surprise gift for a friend through his website.
On placing my order, I requested a personal message to the recipient to be included. Mr. Oxer kindly obliged, he also kept me in the loop, sending me a photograph of the painting once it had been framed, the tracking details and date of delivery. It was such a swift and easy process. My friend was thrilled to receive such an exquisite gift, and of course is absolutely over the moon to own an original artwork. It is something that she will always treasure.

William is an excellent figurative artist and his main influences are clearly neo-classical pre-Raphaelite Victorian artists such as Waterhouse.I love the way William paints the fabric of dresses and 'Par La Mer' is an excellent example of this showing two women walking on a beach wearing lovely Edwardian-style white dresses. I now have three of his wonderful paintings and a long 'shopping list' of others I am saving up to purchase!
