‘The Secret Diary’
‘The Secret Diary’
Oil on canvas framed to Guild of Framers Museum Standard. 12”x16” plus frame size.
Below is a piece of writing by Christina Ignatiou inspired by this artwork:
‘Let us embrace the radiance that emanates from treasuring our most profound musings and fervors close to our hearts. For when we nurture the blaze of ardour within us, it can spur the illumination within others.
Like the flicker that wavers and cavorts to craft comfort, our passions can kindle and energise our actions, generating transformation and disseminating amity. For in the end, it is not our musings and passions that characterise us, but the deeds we take to actualise them.
Let us communicate through the act of aiding and admiring others. Let us be the looking glass that mirrors the good in others and the one who cultivates the seeds of progress in those around us.
For life is a passage of growth, and we are all but voyagers. As we voyage, let us be generous and sympathetic, bestowing bountifully of our time and endowments to those who intersect our course.
Let us paint a picture of the world we yearn to create. Let us be the painters of our own predestination, utilising our passions as an instrument to add color to a monochromatic realm.’
